An attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) comprises of sensors placed on three axes that offer attitude information for aircraft that includes roll, pitch and yaw. These sensors are at times called as MARG (Magnetic, Angular Rate, and Gravity) sensors and comprise of either accelerometers, solid-state/microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) gyroscopes, and magnetometers.
